Marlborough Achieves 100% CSCS Compliance
Marlborough recorded 100% CSCS compliance for its workforce during an audit held 1st Feb 2007.
Marborough has always been, and continues to be, commited to the targets laid down by the Major Contractors Group for qualifying the workforce through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). As part of our commitment Marlborough has formed partnerships with regional On Site Assessment & Training (OSAT) providers to enrol our employees onto, and support them through, applicable NVQ qualifications, which lead to the achievement of a CSCS card for our 2nd audit on site.
Our efforts were once again recognised in a recent audit by Taylor Woodrow on Broughton Green Residential Project
where Marlborough is carying out the masonry package. The audit showed that we had achieved 100% CSCS compliance and Taylor Woodrow's Supply Chain Manager, Chris Littlefair, contacted Marlborough following this to say:
"Once again,I am delighted to confirm that your company achieved total compliance with the Qualified Workforce Initative in our CSCS Audit on 1st February 2007. I would thank you and those in your company for joining the industry elite and I look forward to you maintaining your position".
CSCS is fast becoming the industry standard. It is supported by organisations such as the Major Contractors Group (MCG), National Contractors Federation (NCF), Major Home Builders Group (MHBG) and Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) all of whom are committed to a fully qualified workforce by the end of 2010.
