Marlborough was awarded the masonry package on Northern Rock's new H.O in August 2001. The Head Office scheme, by Red Box Design was constructed next door to Northern Rock's current Headquarters and staff watched their new accommodation take shape with great interest.

Marlborough's works were to provide labour, plant and materials to the Curved Block, Core East and West Square Blocks, MSCP & Energy Centre incorporating brick, block, internal scaffold, glass blockwork, slate cills and feature brickwork panels.

Construction work consisted of 250m2 of glass blocks, 25,000m2 of blockwork, a stone and slate package worth £500,000 and as many as 750,000 bricks.

Following the successful completion of the above works Marlborough secured the phase two works at the Northern Rock H.O to carry out the masonry package on the Car Park extension.
